          Shared Group Wine Tours
Includes Door to Door Service and ALL Tasting Fees!
Sonoma County   /   Marin County   /   San Francisco

(For pricing and specific details, click on the area links above)

Basic Info for all our Shared Group Wine Tours
Shared Group Wine Tours are a fun filled social day of wine tasting with other travelers. So, if you are looking for a lighthearted, social experience, then the shared group tour is perfect for you! With this style, we keep the groups small -  8 people or less - guaranteed! Because small groups are more intimate, you may start off as strangers, but usually after the first winery you become more acquainted and comfortable. In fact, as the day goes on, you may even find yourself sharing interesting stories - as many of our travelers come from different areas, states and countries. By the end, you will have found new wines and made new friends!

Duration - 5+ hours (not including pick-up/drop-off times)
Our tours usually last about five hours, not including door to door time. We plan to arrive at our first winery at 11:00 AM and leave our last winery no later then 4:30 PM.

What’s Included
All tasting fees are included! Many wineries charge $5-$20 each for tasting, but when you tour with us, we have you covered! We also provide bottled water.

Where We Go
Sonoma County has thirteen wine regions or appellations. Of those, we most frequently visit Dry Creek, Russian River, Alexander Valley, Sonoma Valley and the Carneros. The guide selects which region(s) daily, determined by the location of our pick-ups and special events. If you would like to request a specific region, consider booking a Private Wine Tour, where we can accommodate your requests.

Sonoma Wineries Visited
Sonoma County is home to over 250 wineries. The day’s itinerary is created by the guide based on the group, region and available wineries. The guide will select a variety of smaller, hidden gem and/or boutique wineries (minimum of 4), making sure you get a true sense of what our wine country offers. In general, we select wineries for their wines, hospitality and the experience they provide.

What to Expect
Your guide will accompany you into the wineries, introduce you to the staff (and maybe a wine maker or two), and will remain with you throughout the day to share their knowledge and answer questions. During the day you will learn about tasting wine, types of grape varietals, wine production, viticulture, and how to store, care for and serve wines. We usually spend some time in a vineyard, weather permitting. You will also have opportunities to purchase wines throughout the day.

Pick-ups - Door to Door Service
Door to door service! We pick up from most locations throughout Sonoma County, Marin County and the city of San Francisco*. We believe that being the designated driver means just that. Most companies offer “pick-up at prearranged public locations with parking,” which means you have to drive at the end of the day. You shouldn’t have to worry about driving after a fun day of wine tasting. That is why our door to door service is your best option!

What’s Not Included
Guide’s gratuity (but always appreciated). We do not include lunch food as we want you to be able to select a meal that fits your needs. We make a stop at a gourmet deli to pick up lunch (or you are welcome to bring your own food), and then we all enjoy a picnic at one of the wineries.
